- VIDEO
- =====
-
- 1. VGA Mode (320x200 256 colors)
- Selecting VGA mode will allow you to run this program in the standard
- 320x200 256 color VGA mode. You should use the VGA mode if SETUP can
- not detect your SVGA hardware or VESA support.
-
-
- 2. SVGA Normal Detection (640x480 256 colors)
- Selecting SVGA Normal detection will allow you to run this program in the
- 640x480 256 color SVGA mode. SVGA Normal detection attempts to identify
- your SVGA hardware directly. You should try SVGA Normal detection before
- trying VESA. However, this program may not be able to detect SVGA hardware
- created later than this program. If this happens, try VESA support to use
- SVGA.
-
-
- 3. VESA Video Support (640x480 256 colors)
- Select VESA detection if SVGA Normal detection does not work. VESA detection
- requires your video card to support the VESA video standard. Your video
- card may require you to load a TSR to support VESA. Check your video card
- manual or contact your video card manufacturer for instructions on setting
- up your card to support VESA.

- Audio
- =====
-
- 1. This program supports SoundBlaster(TM) and SoundBlaster Pro(TM) audio cards
- as well as other audio cards and the PC speaker. SETUP will try to detect
- your sound card if you answer YES to autodetection. If SETUP can not
- detect your hardware, you should take the appropriate action in Steps 2-5
- below.
-
- 2. If your sound card is listed, select that card.
-
- 3. If your audio card is 100% SoundBlaster(TM) compatible,
- select Creative Labs SoundBlaster(TM) or SoundBlaster(TM) Clone from the
- list of sound cards in SETUP.
-
- 4. If your card is not listed, select SoundBlaster(TM) Clone first and then try
- other selections.
-
- 5. Depending on your card selection, you may be asked about
- DMA channels, IRQ (Interrupts), or the Base address of your card.
- If you know that information enter it. If not, select the defaults or
- refer to your audio card user's manual for more information.

-

-
- 2. If you do not have a mouse, setup will configure the game for keyboard
- operation.
